About the Event | Description
"This will be a joyful gathering to celebrate local business owners and mark a major step forward in building an economy grounded in self-determination, creativity, and Native ingenuity. Featuring live music by Levi Platero, small plates prepared by Bidii Chidi, a Navajo tea bar, and sweet treats prepared by Native bakers.
Change Labs is a Navajo nonprofit organization that has spent the past five years working alongside Diné entrepreneurs. From helping small businesses navigate land-use barriers to increasing access to capital, our work has grown from a small coworking space into a broader movement for Native-led business development.
Our Shiprock E-ship Hub is a 2000 sqft space built by and for our people to foster entrepreneurship, provide culturally relevant business support, and serve as a long-term investment in local economic self-sufficiency.
We would be honored by your presence at this event and we hope this celebration will give you a glimpse into what’s possible when we invest in the potential of our own communities. We hope to see you there!"
